Destination Oman

What is Oman known for?

Oman is known for Arabian horses, dromedaries, green turtles, the Oryx antelope, frankincense trees, date palms, oases irrigation system, terraced orchards, adobe fortresses, lots of mosques, wadis (stream valleys), traditional Arabian sailing ships and above all: the Omani hospitality.

The Sultanate is blessed with a variety of natural resources that contribute to the creation of a tourist environment that attracts tourists from inside and outside the Sultanate. If you would like to experience some of these wonders after the Oman Desert Marathon Race, let us know and we can help you plan an unforgettable stay.

However, if what you wish is to relax before returning to your home country after completing the Oman Desert Marathon, you can enjoy a relaxing day at  Jawharat Bidiya Desert Resort to recover from the massive effort. You can also experience the desert in a different way, by enjoying the sunset on a camel ride near the camp resort. Just remember to let us know in advance and we can make it happen for you.
